‘Cause there’s a new artist in town!!

Today we tried to beat the heat, as best we can, with a little outdoor painting project. And fortunately our patio provides us with enough shade to make the heat bearable.

I made sidewalk paint with equal parts cornstarch and water. Then added food coloring.

It was just enough fun that a teenage sister came out of hiding, voluntarily, to join in.

It should all wash away when it rains. If it ever rains.
