Delaney went to her first ever Easter Egg Hunt. It was a community “egg”stravaganza sponsored by three local churches. There was a puppet show, balloons, a message on salvation and then the BIG HUNT!
My childhood memories of community egg hunts went something like this…the biggest and oldest and most rambunctious kids race and grab all the eggs, while the shy, younger kids get trampled and end up with one crummy egg filled with the grossest candy you can think of.
This egg hunt was very well organized. The kids were divided by age and there were plenty of eggs (filled with the BEST candy) to go around. I think Delaney’s egg hunt memories will be much happier than mine!
What an adorable outfit she's in! That looks like it was such a fun event. We went to an Easter egg hunt that sounds like the ones you went to growing up. Looks like Delaney had a great time. She is just so darn CUTE!
